Apologies for the lack of communication as of late. Snitter is broken under AIR 1.1. No timeline yet on a new release. Sorry.

direct messages still work in Snitter. It's all done through the main timeline now (use Filter to view just D msgs)

Released Snitter for AIR 1.0. http://snook.ca/snitter/ It's not perfect but I know lots of you are jumping onto 1.0. Enjoy!

Apologies for the lack of updates recently. Client work is tearing me away from Snitter. When AIR1.0 launches, Snitter will be available.

@cdharrison the thought has cross my mind. I wouldn't be able to push other apps aside but I can auto-hide a docked window. maybe one day.:)

@camiels AIR ties into the OS stack. I haven't discovered a way to specify proxy settings from within AIR. Sorry.
