Exlibris literary means "from books" and they were a property mark used for libraries and readers to point a book belongs to someone (library or person).
The first Ex-Libris in human history dates in XV b.C Century. It was plate of clay with hieroglyphic writing that belonged to egiptian pharaoh Amenhotep III. It maybe was used as a mark for the papyrus rolls at his personal Library. Currently this plate of clay is located at British Museum
