The Paris Peace Accords was a declaration of the end of the Vietnam War.This document was signed by all involved in the war.The Paris Peace Accords stated that the U.S and North Vietnam would remove all troops, and North Vietnam would release American prisoners.All agreed upon the 17th parallel remaining as the dividing line.

This protest occured between the students of Kent University and the Ohio Guardsmen.The students didn't agree with the military actions of the bombing of Cambodia.Four Kent students were killed and nine injured when this anti-war protest took a violent turn.

American soldiers were dropped off at this village of 700 civilians.Where they opened fire,slit throats and mutilated women, children, and the elderly.The soldiers killed hundreds.It is said the soldiers did this because they couldn't take the chance of their(soldiers)lives getting taking by the villagers.

The Ted Offensive was a set of surprise attacks from Vietcong and Northern Vietnam Forces in Southern Vietnam cities . They led these attacks because they feared that they could not handle he losses they faced from battling the American Forces. The first of these attacks took place on January 31, 1968 at 6 of the major South Vietnam Cities. Thousands of lives were lost.

Guerrilla warfare is a military tactic.The definition is the use of hit-and-run tactics by small, mobile groups of irregular forces operating in territory controlled by a hostile, regular force.The Vietcong used this type of war tactic.Napalm were bombs used in the war. They were filled with explosive matter.Agent Orange was the code name for herbicide during Vietnam.It's main objective was to be able to see the enemy when they were hiding in dense terrain.

The attack on Xom Bang base didn't occur until March.The United State's VNAF planes attacked the base which was full of ammunition.As a result Vietcong forces bombed U.S air bases in South Vietnam.Million of dollars lost as well as tons of lives.The operation ended in October of that year.

After the death of president JKF, the United States become concerned for the well being of South Vietnam.The U.S trained south Vietnamese crews and gave weapons to help ensure efforts.The first of the attacks began on August 2, 1964.After those attacks president Johnson became suspicous of further attacks.After August 4(we were attacked at sea but not by Northern Vietnam) we sent aircrafts to coastal cities in North Vietnam and destoryed lots of oil.This event marked the standing of the U.S.A invovement in the War.
