The Palestinians were not happy that the Israeli occupying the Gaza Strip. Protests formed with citizens throwing stones. Israel responded to the citizens with their army. Many Palestinians were killed.
Signed at Camp david, Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt. Many Arab countries were not happy with Egypt for negotiating a peace treaty with Israel.
On the national Jewish holiday, Yom Kippur, Egypt and Syria attacked Israel. Egypt and Syria moved towards Sinai and Golan Heights but were stopped by Israel.
